Manufactured by Eureka, they feature a bivy, or Bivouac shelter design. They have a lightweight 6.3mm shock corded fiberglass frame with post and grommet construction that makes set up fast and easy. The Solitaire offers two entry paths once it has been set up. There is a zippered entry point in the ceiling of the tent that is available when the fly is rolled back. There is also an entry point at the end of the tent. At the opposite side of this entry point is a vestibule designed for storage. The Solitaire Tent also features two interior storage pockets and a flashlight loop. The walls are manufactured of 50d polyester and a no-see-um mesh. The fly and the floor are made of 75d polyester with a 1200mm coating for water resistance. Because of the two pole hoop style, the Solitaire requires staking out in order to stand. These three season backpacking shelters have a compact pack size of 4 inches by 17.5 inches and weigh only 2 pounds 9 ounces. The Solitaire Tent has a floor size of 2 feet 8 inches by 8 feet.
