The Cave Tactical Tents for sale are made for military operations and tactical use. Unlike other tents by Snugpak, like the Scorpion 2 and Scorpion 3, the Cave is not a fly-first pitch type tent. Due to the spacious design of this four person tent, the Cave requires that the inner tent be set up first. Then the fly can be attached if desired. The fly is manufactured of fire retardant, highly durable, lightweight 210t polyester RipStop with a 5000mm waterproof polyurethane coating. This remarkable material protects the occupants from serious foul weather conditions. The fire retardant floor is made of 190t nylon. The fire retardant inner tent is constructed of 190t nylon with polyester mesh. The polyester mesh used in the Cave is 50d polyester no-see-um. Snugpak uses a fixed ground sheet and taped seams for additional protection. The Cave features DAC Featherlite NSL anodized poles with pressfit connectors. All of the DAC poles are crafted from TH72M aluminum. The Cave is much more than just a tent. These tactical shelters feature five vents and two doors. When the fly is being used, the both access doors have a vestibule. One vestibule features a center single zip. The other vestibule has two zips which means it can be used as a convenient wind blocked entrance if only one potion is being used for access. Designed for long lasting use, these tents include a basic repair kit for field repairs. They also include 23 alloy stakes with 2 spare stakes for a total of 25 stakes.
